Westport is a sleepy little fishing town about 2 hours south west of Seattle, along the coast of the Pacific Ocean. December in Washington is....rainy. But I still got after it - hiked and ran every day and explored what Westport has to offer. In the summer months, Westport is a great surfing and fishing spot. In the winter, it is Razor Clam season. You can check the dates for Razor Clam digging, here.
Hikes:
Westport Light Trail at Westport Lighthouse State Park: a paved trail that travels about 2 miles all the way to downtown Westport. It is relatively flat and travels along the coast. It is beautiful at sunset or sunrise.

Twin Harbors Shifting Sands Interpretive Trails: totals about 4-4.5 miles if you take all of the trails in the area, minimal elevation gain

Westport Marina/Fisherman's Boardwalk: not a specific trail, but wander around the Westport Marina, Fisherman's Boardwalk, watch fisherman and look for seals!

Beach Access:
Go beach combing along the shore at low tide and look for shells, sand dollars, crab shells and cool rocks. Check the tide here.

Bonge Ave: Located right next to the parking for the Twin Harbors State Park Shifting Sands Interpretive Trails

Half Moon Bay: Located along the Westport Lighthouse Trail towards the northern section of the trail. It can be access by walking along the trail from the south parking area (Apple Maps or Google Maps to Westport by the Sea Condominiums) or from the parking area at the end of Jetty Haul Road (Called Westhaven State Park)

Lodging:
Seashore Cottage, Airbnb: accommodates up to 10 people with private beach access.
"Ocean front property with private trail to 18 miles sandy beach, where you can walk, bike, play kite, fly fish, catch crabs or dig razor clams. Hot tub, fire pit, sauna.
2 remodeled buildings including 3 units. Totally 5 bedrooms, 4 baths, 3 kitchens. You can reserve all or just the main building for less price."

Dining:
Westport
Westport Winery, Sea Glass Grill (located next to the International Mermaid Museum): notable items include the cod, gluten free dessert options and the cocktail flight!

Tokeland
Tokeland Hotel, The Wandering Goose: this hotel is the oldest in Washington State.
"Heather Earnhardt and Zac Young believe the rich history of the Tokeland Hotel and Restaurant offers an intimate and cozy environment where guests feel connected to the magic of an earlier, gracious period and lifestyle. Southern hospitality, exceptional food and comfortable lodgings are just part of the late 19th century ambiance.
Along with their five children, they now call Tokeland their full-time home. They keep a large flock of chickens and guinea hens, a big yellow lab named Gus, Biscuit the rabbit, three pet pigs named Fanny, Fern and Francis, pygmy goats Percy, Cookie & Marjie, two parakeets Sundance & Frida, and a big wild garden."

Be prepared to spend a pretty penny here. But it is worth it. Pictured is the Black Cod (seasonal item) and Bruschetta Burrata. Spend time with the local pets, including a very chubby yellow lab.
Museums:
The International Mermaid Museum (next to the Westport Winery, Sea Glass Grill):
"The International Mermaid Museum is dedicated to teaching ocean ecology from seashore to sea floor immersed in mermaid mythology unifying oceanic cultures."

Westport Maritime Museum: located across the street from the Westport Harbor
